77 Lucky Years: A Chronicle of a Full Life Partly Spent Underwater
Author William (Bill) McBride has experienced several careers, and, in fact, has not been without work since age six. After High school he worked his way up from warehouseman to sales supervisor in a meat packing company. He then developed a SCUBA business in the basement of his home, and grew this into an operation involving six active locations, 50+ employees, and eventually the award of Small Business Person of the Year in Ohio. Along the way he has been named as the country's leading specialist and author in the field of greyhound racing, and has authored several other books on business, diving, greyhounds, salesmanship, and technical manuals. In 2010 he even helped his dog, Tramp, write a book. A survivor of numerous cancer surgeries, his positive attitude is an inspiration to others.
