For the first time on a long time, Georgia isn't alone, and she underestimates how much her new friendships will affect her own principles as she and Eddie search for answers about the murders.
All the while, Georgia tries to uncover who Eddie Delgado really is, and the secret of the dark past he's unwilling to share even with himself. And as they descend through the moral rabbit hole in their search for the killers, her own principles are tested to the breaking point as she learns that people are never who they appear to be, including the person who's become more than just her best friend.
