Great Poets A true poet doesnt need a higher education; theyre just born with it, within their soul. It is truly a gift from above, to be able to speak passionately with words. Its a gift like a singer. A true singer doesnt need lessons, because God kissed their pipes, the true Creator of all gifts big and small. A true poet knows from a very small child, how they began to play with words instead of toys. They noticed how they could make words do almost anything like numbers. But if you are studying to become a great poet, you must dig deep inside yourself, separate your mind from your body. You must be a dreamer or a person with visions, able to see a face inside of the moon or something. You have to be a person who wants to make a change in the world, or just want to be heard. You must not be afraid to express your views on life or what other might say or think. Your thoughts can influence someones life in a major way. You could change someones path forever. Your poetry will make a difference if you put your mind, your soul, your heart, into it.
