I was about 3 months old – had been slumming it at the SPCA for around six weeks waiting to be claimed. Barking boring indeed!

One day a smallish human walked straight up to my cage. She did not look left or right and, let me tell you, there were some revoltingly adorable puppies in the cage next to mine.

"Open up" she said to the dude, "this mutt is mine. She's coming home with me."

I smiled at her with as many of my fearsome fangs as I could. "Good choice lady. Let’s get out of here... now!"

She picked me up. Slung me over her shoulder, and off we went to live our urban family life.

This book is written in Doglish, with the odd bits of Catlish. A follow up to A Dog's Blog... this is Fudge's tail - straight from the mutt's mouth! Fudge was rescued from the SPCA in Springs, South Africa when she was about three months old. This is a hilarious look at the day to day life of a much-loved, ball-besotted urban hound living with a very normal (yet sometimes slightly peculiar) family - from her point of view.
