A Guide to Calendar Time is a simple guide to getting started with calendar time in your homeschool or classroom. I've used it in preschool, first grade and second grade classrooms as well as with my own children as I homeschool them. It provides an opportunity for daily, controlled practice of basic math concepts such as counting, skip counting, graphing, sequencing, pattern recognition, our base ten system, etc., and provides extension opportunities to include any concept you feel is important. In this guide, I include everything I use in my calendar routine and explain how I use it. The printables I created are included at the end of the guide and links are provided to everything I used so you do not need to purchase anything to get started.
