But fate has different plans, and Suzy’s stay ends up more strange – and much more pleasant – than she expected.
Because Suzy’s tattoo will lead her onto a dangerous path that will change her life – and that of many others...

“She started to rise, then narrowed her eyes and looked around the room. Something was out of place, as if a shadow in the corner of her eye had shifted, but she couldn’t tell what it was.”
The door to the bathroom stood open, just as she’d left it, so she could see the whole room from where she was. There was no one there except for her.
She could make out the bolt on the door to the corridor, still in place. This was weird. Even stranger was that she felt entirely calm, even though she knew she should be worried.
There’s nothing there, you idiot, Suzy told herself, then gasped when she heard a clink from the tray of bottles on the chest of drawers...”
