As it was such a beautiful spring day, Veronika Wilder decided to have a walk in the park by the lake. To walk all the way around the lake is almost two miles, Veronika, however, decided to only walk about half way, then instead of walking the full walk around she cut it in half and walked back the way she came. I turned out to be the same distance, but for some reason, Veronika preferred it this way. Walking most of the way back, part of the path came quite close to the road, Veronika stopped for a while to look at the cars, and especially one that was parked right of the road. As she stopped she didn't see two men that had hidden behind some shrubs. They grabbed her and quickly had Veronika bound in the backseat with a cover over her body. Two brothers, George and Pete, had kidnapped her to have someone cleaning their filthy home. To get some food and drink she had to do as the two men told her. Now she needed her medication every day for her arthritis, and the one named George promised to get it for her when he had to go shopping later. When George drove away for his shopping, Veronika cleaning the place had found a shotgun, loaded, in one of the closets. When she with the shotgun told Pete to phone 9-1-1 the interesting part started.
