This textbook teaches the basics of French grammar, reinforcing its lessons with exercises and key practice translations. Chapters contain translation passages from such authors as Pascal, Montesquieu, Proust, Sartre, Bourdieu, Senghor, Césaire, de Certeau, de Beauvoir, Barthes, and Kristeva.
