There was a very uncomfortable silence for a couple of seconds and Rony could only come up with a “Ahhh, I should leave now, Bye” to break it. Ruby replied “Bye” almost choking while doing so, still with her eyes closed, a drop of tear rolled down her left cheek. Rony saw it, he knew she felt bad, he wanted to apologise but he dint know for what he should apologise, he just stayed for a couple of seconds and left. He wanted to wipe that tear off her cheek, to hug her and tell her that she is a special friend and he doesn’t want to lose that friendship to a stupid feeling or to the heat of the moment,he wanted to explain but instead,he just left. “Why don’t people let me explain things” Rony murmured as he made the long lonely walk to his vehicle.
