This is the second book in a light hearted series that covers the life and times of the people of Broadleigh, a village near the fictional town of Abberford, and is set in the nineteen sixties.
The Pig and Whistle is the only public house in the village and is run by Maud and John Farrett. They have had no children so all their time is spent trying to keep the people of Broadleigh happy.
