Adela steadied herself. ‘The dream was like no other. I was standing in a field. It was misty, as if first thing in the morning. I could feel the grass at my feet and the air on my face. I was wearing a beautiful white dress, completely unstained. Out of the mist came a woman. She told me she was a Pure Witch, but she looked sad. Her dress was stained with blood and her face beaten. She told me she was being held against her will. He wants a secret from her, but she cannot tell him; but she did not say who the “he” was. She told me to follow the trail. Before I could say anything, the mist took her from the dream. But this was bigger than a dream. It felt so real. So I ask you, Mr Mayor, please help me rescue her before it is too late.’

Adela has been summoned by a Pure Witch, and she must answer her call.
