In the school summer holidays of 2013, Fishcake Publications was lucky enough to run a spooky story workshop in the Kirklees Huddersfield Library for kids aged 8-12 with a view to producing an eBook that contained the work that came from it.
These stories are the result of those workshops.
It never ceased to be amaze at how imaginative and creative children can be and the group of children that turned up every week with their ideas, enthusiasm and talent didn’t let us down.
Those six children, Maxime, Edouard, Ethan, Grace, Alistair and Eve, were a delight to work with and I believe we should all keep an eye out for them in the future as we potentially have some budding authors in the making.
Collectively, they have called themselves ‘The Story Killer’s and named their book after the theme of the work they produced.
Also, we have to give thanks to Linda, Tina and Hannah at Huddersfield Library. Linda for organising and arranging the event, and Tina and Hannah for their help and enthusiasm during the workshops.
So please enjoy the stories and illustrations of
The Story Killers.
We wish them all the best for the future and hope they continue to write, and enjoy writing, as long as they can.
All the Best.
