Jesse Kane, an assistant pastor, and his southern-bred wife Jennifer, return to the United States from a successful mission trip to Haiti. They travel to Tennessee to pick up their two children from the home of Jennifer's parents. When they arrive, suspicious signs indicate that someone has been trying to steal their identity. They rush home to find out what is going on. Along the way, they get a disturbing phone call from a neighbor.
Someone has broken into the Kane's million dollar home.
It was not a typical, run-of-the-mill burglary. Most burglars break-in, steal and leave quickly, but these intruders had no intention of leaving. They planned to stay. And stay for a while. The police can do nothing. The intruders seem to have the law on their side.
