Special Forces operative, Todd Donahue, saves a lone tribeswoman and her baby daughter from certain death on the plains of Africa.
Eight years later, the now wealthy woman, Monique, finds Todd as a derelict alcoholic sprawled on a Los Angeles' pavement, and now it is her turn to save him.
While aiding his recovery, the two of them realize they have a common enemy in their past - rebel leader Milton Kinshaya. And now Kinshaya has a ten-million dollar price tag on his head.
Together they decide to contact Todd's old sergeant, Rusty McCandles, and a plan is formulated to re-unite a team of ex Delta Force buddies and take on a mission into Africa, a mission to capture Kinshaya. However, once the team's plan is in place, it becomes clear that there is a traitor in their midst as people begin to die.
Undaunted, the remainder of the team journey into Africa in search of their target. Surprise attacks continue to occur, and still they cannot unmask the traitor.
With the aid of a beautiful military adviser, "Temple", they locate Kinshaya's stronghold. Then comes the unexpected and a change of plan.
With the intervention of a brigade of UNITAs army, Kinshaya and his bodyguards have to flee. Chased by Todd and his team, they try to take refuge in an uninhabited fish plant on the shore of a nearby lake, though it is here that Kinshaya is captured. And now, finally, in a revelation that devastates Todd, the traitor revealed.
