J. David Pitcher Jr., MD received his medical degree from Oral Roberts School of Medicine in 1982. He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Miami, and he practices orthopedic oncologic surgery. He is a member of many medical associations, including the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He has contributed to more than fifty medical publications. He is the author of Making the Assist: Caring for Those With Cancer. Dr. Pitcher was a 2002 Olympic Torch Bearer. He and his wife, Pam, attend Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale. They have two grown children.
