A curious citizen of the world, Marco Lazzarotti was born in Aulla (Italy), but when he was still a child, he moved to Carrara, a city that substantially contributed to its human and social development.
He attended the University of Pisa, where he graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and moved to Taiwan.
In Taiwan he learned Chinese and began to venture into the varied and fascinating Eastern cultures.
He lived for shorter or longer periods in Asia, Mainland China, Philippines, Hong Kong and Macao, and finally in Korea, the home country of his wife.
His passion for man and for different cultures lead him to study Cultural Anthropology, a discipline fundamentally hermeneutical which influence is present in his poetry.
Alcune Rime is his first work to be published.
In this book are collected some poems written on the year 2006 and later.
