In the misty beginning of the medieval times, Duke Melan acquires a splendid red-haired slave from a Persian merchant. But before he can get to her, she mysteriously disappears from a locked cell at the top of a tower. He believes that witchcraft was involved in her disappearance. The Duke wants her back at all costs. He travels to the Mausoleum of Riach in Transylvania where he surrenders his soul to the ‘Evil Spirit’ in return for otherworldly powers.
Melan strikes Albalux, the peaceful neighboring Kingdom, and thanks to his newly acquired powers, he slaughters all the males within a day.
The nations of the time react. The Allies besiege Melan’s Black Stone Fortress. Soon the Church, Crusaders and La Chamza (a Brotherhood of witches and wizards) are drawn into the battle.
Unlikely mysterious otherworldly alliances are made. Victories and losses are the results of never heard before tactics and strategies.
