With Chronic Illnesses on the rise, McClain's recent release, “Analyzing Your Soil Preparing for a Plentiful Harvest,” takes a Biblical perspective on health. While it respects medical professionals, it also critiques the “band aid” approach to solving many problems associated with chronic illnesses and medicine. “Perfect harmony is a state of dynamic balance within the body, where illness simply cannot exist,” says McClain. “When the human body is in balance, it is an intricate machine that constantly repairs itself from foreign invaders, damage and mutant cells.” This is the premise for Analyzing Your Soil. The origin of the human body is compared to the biblical origin of man made from the dust of the earth. McClain explains what simple tools are available without prescription to help us better understand our bodies needs, and how we might go about further optimizing our body functions through the knowledge that one can gain from these tools. McClain, who was motivated to write Analyzing Your Soil after spending years of struggling with chronic illnesses of both herself and some of her family members and the failure of diagnoses and inadequate treatment. “For nearly three years, I experienced a multitude of ailments, problems and symptoms with my body. I often wondered why my system was failing me at such a young age. I was only thirty-two years old and very frustrated with the medical society after dozens of trips to the doctor’s office and emergency room. McClain speaks of her trials with chronic illnesses along with others in her book and how supplementing with alternative healing really made a positive difference in their lives and their quality of life.

In this new day, a new time with the end closely upon us, we need to be thinking of our Lord and Savior’s imminent return, which the Bible promises will be like a thief in the night, bringing His children home to Himself. No one knows the day or the hour of His return, but until He does return, God is calling all of His children to walk in faith and in His wisdom with regard to our health. I don’t want to be misunderstood. I am not saying that all doctors are bad. God works through doctors, too. I am just saying, “Know your body. If you don’t have peace about the diagnosis you have been given, go and pray about it. Then, get a second opinion from a doctor you can trust." God will direct your path. It’s promised in His Word. (Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. Psalm 37:5 NLT)
I'm living proof of what God can do. My prayer is that my book will inspire you to experience the health God has intended for each of His children.

Dear friend, I am praying that all is well with you and that your body is as healthy as I know your soul is. 3 John 1:2 NLT
