The Saggi, an alien species recreated by the Rhesus and the Baroque are an efficient killing machine. They predominantly feed on humanoids and have been set loose on unsuspecting planets in various galaxies. The Andromeda crew have already had experiences with this alien species and are determined to stop them if possible. Also in their sector is the Rhesus warlord Sett. More problems arrive when they land on Earth's twin - the planet Solaris.
