HE FINDS HIS CALLING IN DEFENDING THE INNOCENT
AN ANGEL’S FIRST LOVE

Simon Draco can sense innocence and guilt, and he used this power to defend clients accused of crimes they did not commit in court as a lawyer. But when he first falls in love, it was with a kid, and kissing her is one of his first sins, something he has to forget….

Six years later, grown up Dreama Addison is still the brightest star in his horizon. She might not remember that innocent kiss they shared in the past, when she asked him to teach her how a gentleman kisses the same way she learned Martial Arts to defend herself from aggressive dates, but she does not seem to mind if they create new memories.

Unfortunately, her older sister Raven is obsessed with Simon and guards him like a hawk to avoid them being together. Fortunately, fellow Earthbound Erick Angell and his love, Hollianne Talbot, are going to be married. And Holli and Dreama have become fast friends since they met. Holli senses two hearts wanting to be together, so she planned to get them together.

But Raven is good with interference, manipulation, and lying—and she was determined to have Simon for herself even if she will hurt her only sister. With her plotting in the background, will Simon and Dreama be able to explore the love that finally has an opportunity to be explored? Or, like the innocents that Simon often defends, will they need some kind of heaven’s grace?

"DON’T WORRY,” she said as she slid near him on the sofa where they were seated. She was smiling. “I will not fall in love with you with just a kiss. I will not stalk you, I will not have a crush on you. I am not like Raven.”

“Why not?” he asked again, his voice almost a hoarse whisper now, thinking that what was happening was crazy and as a responsible human adult, he really should not let it happen.

But it had started happening, and he realized that Dreama already knew it.

“Because I like this other guy better than I like you, and because you are old,” she said before she started kissing him.

It was amusing, what she had said. And he was able to laugh before their lips had their first contact.

And drat, even as he felt his Father’s disapproving glare from above, as soon as their lips touched, he got serious.

Dreama expected him to do this right. She was counting on him to be a good teacher, and so he erased everything else on his mind as he delivered what she needed from him.

A kiss that was proper, warm, sweet, tender… exactly what she should get from a date from someone who was a gentleman, and trustworthy.
