My son's signs of Auditory Processing Disorder was there from an early stage on, but he was only diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder at the age of 8. He was first misdiagnosed.

He was also diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, I feel the Auditory Processing Disorder is the main reason for him been inattentive all the time.

It was a big relief the day I found out what exactly was wrong with him, it made sense to me. He had a speech delay, is not responding all the time, find it hard to follow instructions, he has problems with reading, writing and speech and is daydreaming most of the time.
