Australia is a free and independent nation. This book is about a free country, Australia. That wants to stay a free country and most importantly about the model of DEMOCRACY that sustains us as a free country for centuries to come. It is about becoming a free Independent Nation without going down the road of becoming a Republic. Republic Democracies of this world are a serious risk to freedom and have a bad habit of turning into Dictatorships. Have a hard look at the present and past dictatorships of this world. So many of them started with true free democratic elections, popular enthusiastic potential and their populace rejoicing in freedom! Only to succumb to despotic dictators. How does this happen? I believe a majority of Australians would like a truly Independent Australia with no Monarch; however, these people are divided in opinion. One half wants us to be an independent country by becoming a Republic with a President as Head of State. The other half, I believe, believes as I do, that we become an independent country and nation by some other model or arrangement other than a Presidential Republic. My new model of democracy and government will guarantee freedom and independence.
