A boy is naughty and scolded by his parents. He runs away into a forest where he is content except for being awakened every night by a bad dream. Despite his several childish efforts to evade the dream, it does not go away. He comes upon a beautiful maiden and asks for her help, but she misleads him and creates a scarier dream.
