Barack Hussein Obama has been my political muse from the moment I began writing about him. He became the 2nd President of the 21st Century, an era where Presidents now must contend with the vortex of the 24-hour new cycle, the blogosphere, and all in between. This book in short is about responses, as President Obamas candidacy, and Presidency have elicited responses from opponents, and supporters both domestic and foreign. During that time Mr. Obama has had to respond to both criticism and praise, challenges from within, and challenges from a far. Finally, this book is a compilation of my own personal observations of Barack Obama as a candidate, and President. Although I was a supporter of Mr. Obama both physically, and financially, I want the reader to be clear, this book is not a blanket endorsement of the policies of President Obama, as it offers praise when needed, delivers criticisms when deserved, and rose what I felt to be thoughtful questions when appropriate.
