"The Android That Didn't Change Humanity" is a science fiction adventure comedy
in the mold of Red Dwarf and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
April Rollins is 33 years old, unmarried with a 14 year old son (Sam), who she wishes was just a little more wayward than he is! She is also the Captain of Junker 48, a refuse collection ship - because no matter how advanced humankind becomes, we still somebody being paid minimum wage to clean up after everybody.
With a motley crew which includes a resentful IT genius and a washed out has been, they cruise the depths of space grabbing, sorting and recycling other people’s rubbish!
The Android That Didn’t Change Humanity is a funny and irreverent peek at life in 4021 aboard a Junker ship. In a world where Social Media has never been tethered, the results are 24 hour links, with information and news fed straight into your brain!
Peter is an Android who truly believes he has feelings, but with the world after him, Peter decides the only way forward is to strike it out alone! While all this is going on, the Junker crew receive orders and a new mission; its going to be rather smelly and not very much fun. When these two events collide, it’s a slow crash (nothing in a junker goes fast) based more on annoyance and inconvenience than changing the course of history!
