Grant Shorfield is the author of five volumes of his autobiography. This mammoth task has taken him nearly forty years to complete. Grant attacks writing much like George Lucas tackled Star Wars; lets do it in the wrong order, start somewhere in the middle and work backwards. Although it was written first, Biography of a Wildman represents volume two in Grants saga and is a detailed account of Grant and his buddy over a five year period. Mick, the hero of the tale was very much the Batman of the duo and Grant, his diminutive sidekick - Robin; faithful to the end but not entirely sure of what was going on. The events described took place in the late nineteen sixties and seventies. Whilst the world was coming to terms with the arrival of Captain Kirk and Star Trek and the USA was haemorrhaging in Vietnam, Mick and Grant were causing all sorts of mischief and disorder, at a much lower level, on the outskirts of London. This biography is intended for the ordinary person; but the main character within is far from ordinary.
