In ancient folklore, bluebell forests were believed to be inhabited by wicked fairies who were not fond of humans, and were considered a dangerous place to get lost in. The bluebells were thought to act as a veil connecting the physical world with the world of the unseen.
Eleven year old Maxence was no longer able to bear the pain after losing his beloved parents. He bravely ventures into the forest to cross the veil, hoping to be reunited with his parents. His heart-broken sister chases after him knowing they may never find a way out of the forest.
