Make no mistake, it’s extremely profitable keeping us fat. Not for you of course, but for the food and drug industries. The drug industry is well aware that people who are fat, overweight, and obese have increased medical issues and buy more non-prescriptive and prescriptive drugs than the Tyrone Biggums character from the Dave Chappelle Show. There is an unspoken financial motivation to keep folks overweight because overweight people are sicker, make great customers and simply add to the bottom line. Unfortunately, in the drug industry it’s simply not profitable to make and keep people healthy. Remember, many of the drug and food companies are publicly traded corporations whose only objective is to increase profits and shareholder value.

Food companies just want to sell us more additives and foods that lower our metabolism and increase hunger (like high fructose corn syrup). This makes us fatter, which makes us want to buy even more unhealthy food. And eventually, we get sick. And what happens when we get sick? We have to buy more drugs. This premeditated vicious cycle doesn’t end until you either figure it out or ultimately allow the final cog in this vicious fat cycling machine to also profit: the funeral home.

On Day 1 we’ll examine how to “Crack the Code” on food labels and the various diseases that are killing us.
