A silver SUV skids, smashes into a large tree. Homicide Detective Lloyd Patton blasts through the windshield! He wakes to see the SUV explode. He calls 9-1-1, sobs, "Kathy, Jamie, Pammie!" He screams "No!", as the EMS team slides three the charred bodies into the zipped black body bags. Lloyd miseries are just to come. He's charged with Vehicular Homicide, and relieved of duty. H hites bottom living in the streets, and ambles into Dr. Aurelius' Hospice. The good Dr. puts him through a series of tests. "An injection of a mild antitoxin will control your habit." Just when he is feeling human, Lloyd is drugged for his body organs; a candidate for a heart excision. A lightning storm saves him, and he escapes, only to be chased by the good Dr.'s atavistic Neanderthal brother. He escapes through the channel to the inland waterway. Lloyd organizes an "A" team of his down-and-out homeless vagrants, buddies. The Captain and Lloyd plan a helicopter drop and assault from the roof of the hospice. The Dr. says: "To catch the cat, we must first have the mouse." The Fast Action keeps you tied to the pages.
