The book speaks about several feelings and impressions regarding current events and the way we are seen by the West and how the West may see us and our pressing problems, where some of them remain unresolved. Poetry may clear out things a bit and add some calming effect on situations that are in themselves difficult and thorny.

A compilation of poems mainly around birds and flowers. The poems were written before and after the revolts took place in Egypt and feelings of mixed sadness and loss.
