Crossing over the River of Dreams, Bouncey the Elf sees an injured bird and goes to help. He finds his friend, Trixie the Pixie already there. Trixie tells him that Tawney the Owl, (the injured bird) had found out that the Goblins were using elves as slaves in their goldmine.
Next to Tawney in the long grass, Bouncey sees two small black boxes, tangled up with string, in his talons.
Those boxes talk to the Goblins, Tawney had “told” Trixie. Bouncey just laughed at the idea of talking boxes.
They decide to ask the Wizard to help them rescue the elves. On the way to the Wizard’s cave, Bouncey is separated from Trixie and gets captured by two Goblins.
Trixie manages to reach the Wizard’s cave and he agrees to help save the elves.
The unexpected arrival of her friend, Aerie the Faery, Trixie thought might give them a better chance of rescuing the elves. However the Wizard explained that it will all depend on Tawney doing the right thing.......
