Bouncy the Tennis Ball was very excited on the day of his first ever tennis tournament. But when one of the players accidently hits Bouncy over the tennis court fence, he finds himself stranded outside the court in a wilderness storage yard. Here, Bouncy meets a collection of discarded worn and unfriendly tennis balls led by Crew Cut. Fortunately, Bouncy is befriended by a wise elderly football, named Quarterbob, who promises to help Bouncy get back into the tennis court and into the game. Together, they embark on a daring adventure to escape from the yard, evading Crew Cut and his unwelcome ‘baddie balls’. Only then, can Bouncy fulfil his dream of becoming a championship-winning ball. Bouncy’s ‘First Great Adventure’ is a story about the importance of pursuing one’s dreams, as well as creating unexpected friendships. Even the ‘baddie balls’ become good at the end! Bouncy’s story will appeal to all children and tennis fans of any age. Promoting reading skills, helping to develop a child’s imagination, a desire for sports activities and exercise are all positive influences. This is the first of Bouncy’s on-going exciting adventures. More stories coming soon…
