Book 1 Description:
Nia Samuels and Ryan Zaseman have been dating since their junior year in high school but they had been best friends in the years before. Nia is in band in high school and college and will run her dad’s company after college and major in business while Ryan majors in industrial engineering and wants to open his own company. Ryan also played lacrosse in high school and got an academc athlete’s scholarship at Texas A&M to play for them. Ryan and Nia both graduate together and attend Texas A&M together.
Ryan and Nia lived in an apartment together all through college and planned to get married post-graduation. Ryan receives a job for an international company. What he did not know was that the company’s main office where he was hired to work is overseas in Germany. Nia cannot leave because she has to run her dad’s company and Ryan could not bring anyone with him to an offshore location.
Book 2 Description:
Ryan leaves Nia to go to Germany to begin work. She had met Gerald at a previous time and chapter two picks up after their engagement. Their marriage, in its early days, was hard for Nia to accept but, over time, Nia finds out more about Gerald’s past and grows to love him. Nia and Gerald buy a house together about a year into their marriage. Nia gives birth to their daughter, Alessandra after about two years. Gerald is a big time engineer so Nia did not go to work as much anymore. On their tenth anniversary, Nia discovers that Gerald had been unfaithful and files for divorce.
Book 3 Description:
The final part of the Trilogy begins with Nia negotiating with her divorce lawyer about what she will get from Gerald. When the divorce is finalized, Nia learns that Gerald fled the country without leaving her any off the agreed money. Nia sees a shrink beforehand about her shopping problem, once it is resolved, she is able to get things together and take care of her daughter. She later learns that her company is in desperate need of new investors or else the company will have to file bankruptcy and be seized by the government. In the midst of all this, she attends her college reunion where he sees Ryan again for the first time in 10 years. They basically pick up where they left off; Ryan proposes and invests in her company, saving it from turmoil. They are married a few months later.
