Dublin boy Brian O'Driscoll is an internationally admired rugby player and an Irish hero. Educated at Blackrock College, the alma mater of many Irish greats, his ambition was always to represent his country. Capped three times for Ireland Schools in 1996 Brian soon represented Ireland at under-19 level helping win the IRB World Championship. He then went onto play for the under-21 side before realising his dream to represent Ireland at senior level. Brian made his debut against Australia at just 20 -- before he'd even made his senior club debut for Lenister. Made captain of Ireland in 2003, O'Driscoll's phenomenal record includes consecutive triple crowns in 2006 and 2007, as well as one in his first year as skipper -- and the RBS Six Nations player of the tournament in 2006 and 2007 plus the Grand Slam in the 2009 Six Nations. In January 2010, O'Driscoll was voted World Rugby player of the decade (2000-2009) by the influential magazine Rugby World.
