Brown-Ears, the floppy, lop-eared rabbit, is rather forgetful. In fact, he's more than just forgetful. He's positively careless -- especially when it comes to getting lost. McRoss has taken Brown-Ears to the beach, where they have great fun building sandcastles. Sleepy, Brown-Ears closes his eyes for a nap. When he wakes, he finds himself alone...with the tide coming in! Will Brown-Ears ever find his way home again?

This story is pure magic!
The children loved the cliff hangers at the end of each chapter and the bitter-sweet ending produced many thoughtful faces. Brown-ears, a floppy bunny belonging to Ross, has a lamentable tendency to get lost. The adventures and characters that Brown-ears encounters kept all my children on the edge of their seats. Wonderful!

Stephen Lawhead is an internationally acclaimed author of mythic history and imaginative fiction. In addition to his twenty-four novels, he has written nine children's books, many of them originally offered to his two sons, Drake and Ross. He makes his home in Oxford, England. Stephen's non-fiction, fiction and children's titles have variously been published in twenty-four foreign languages.
