Brendan looked at him, calmly, eyes steady and unflinching. “Yeah,” he challenged, not glancing away like usual. His hands rested casually on his thighs. “Like what?”
“Something I think we’ve both wanted,” Chad offered, finally putting it out there as he continued to roll forward on the wheels of his desk chair. “For a long, long time.”
