LOTANNA is a twenty-nine year old lady going on thirty. The pressures from friends and family to get married forced her into leaving Nigeria for America. All the relationships she has been in had ended sourly after getting her hopes up. On the eve of her thirtieth birthday, Lottie, as she is fondly called by friends and family, just wants to let go of her hopes of getting married and face her career. But fate thinks differently.
BALI is a tall, dark and handsome man. He is dangerous, but he knows how to touch Lottie’s soul even without touching her body. They meet at the diner she had gone to have lunch and the sparks fly. They are both attracted to each other, but Lottie is following a handbook and so acts aloof. Bali however is the master of women and can tell she is attracted to him. He wants her but he is taking his time.
Lottie just wants sex, because she has given up on love. Hanging out with Bali led her to his house, in a drunken state. She wakes up the next morning in her birthday suit, but Bali has been the gentleman. Even though Bali is a gentleman, he is dangerous and so, Lottie finds herself in a crossfire.
First she is arrested for the attempted murder of Bali, and then she finds herself running away from the hospital, with Bali. They go to a deserted town, but the shooters follow them there and this time, they kidnap Lottie. She realizes that she had gotten bullets instead of roses, but what she doesn’t know, was that the wrong man would love her so right and the answers to all her prayers was in this one, dangerous man.
