The story tells of the beginning of Logoland and begins a long time ago when there were gypsies in the land and evil men ruled over them. The gypsies lived in what is now modern Romania only in that time it was called Hubristania. These gypsies did not belong to the modern clans we see now. Taylor Cole Fillingston, the great-great grandfather of Edward and Heather Fillingston of previous “Bright Star Journals” stories finds Logoland through the effects of a special tree from Romania. Great-great grandfather Fillingston shares the story of Logoland with his 3 granddaughters Sarah, Danielle, and Anna. He tells of how Logoland came into existence. Evil enters the land and great-great grandfather Fillingston meets the Bright Star and given a task of healing Logoland. Great-great grandfather Filllingston meets the squirrel Wriggly and is led to meet with the centaurs in council. Great-great grandfather Fillingston meets the centaurs and all the others who love Logoland and the Bright Star. The council is attacked by those who oppose the Bright Star and all are forced to flee for their very lives. The survivors flee across the mountains and try to find a way to regroup to confront the evil they have encountered. Great-great grandfather Fillingston meets with several challenges to his faith. The Bright Star made 5 islands to test the love and resolve of those who follow him: Self-actualization, Self-help, Situation ethics, Love, and Non-inheritance. Great-great grandfather Fillingston must meet these challenges brought to him by one he knew before. They are attacked again and many are wounded. The group rests, let their wounds heal, and gather at the Plain of Reckoning. It is there they all believe their enemies will before they attack to finish off the loyal Logolanders. The false prince of Logoland-Abaddon seeks single combat with Great-great grandfather Fillingston to kill him and become the ruler of Logoland. Great-great Grandfather Fillingston finds out that the evil is really him! Great-great Grandfather Fillingston heals the land with the help of the Bright Star. The evil is cleansed from Logoland. Great-great Grandfather Fillingston returns home and finishes the story with Sarah, Danielle, and Anna.
