He had given her only two instructions. She was not to speak until he said she could. And she was to wear, under her work clothes, lingerie that exposed everything that was private and personal.

Now he deliberately inspected her. He looked her slowly down and up, smiling warmly once more into her eyes as he began to circle her. Although the strain of her nerves continued to grow, she was relieved that he did not seem offended by her looks. In fact, he seemed to like what he saw. And she certainly liked what she saw.

Kurt was much taller than she, nearly a foot more than her 5'4". His hair was light brown, perhaps a dirty blond, and just short of being called curly. Outside was the spectacular view of the Las Vegas Strip, with the desert and mountains in the distance. A film over the glass diffused the glare of the hot desert sun. Kurt carried the tray to the table and set it down, then lifted the glasses and handed one to Sherlynn as they stood next to the table.

"To a glorious beginning," he toasted, and they touched the glasses together. He took a healthy sip, and Sherlynn tried not to wrinkle her nose at the flavor of her small taste. He smiled, touched her wrist, and stroked her arm. "Drink it down," he said.

They locked eyes as Sherlynn raised the glass to her lips, its tilt following the pace of the liquid down her throat. Kurt placed his glass on the table, and when Sherlynn finished, he took hers and removed the green olive before placing her glass next to his own. He reached toward her lips with the olive, and Sherlynn instinctively opened her mouth for it. He used it to trace her lips, and then placed one...
