Chapter 1 Jen was on her feet running at full speed before her eyes were fully open as the attack clarions blared around her. AS she slid to a stop next to the claw she flew in combat she could hear the other pilots checking in. When she launched her claw was rocked by incoming projectiles. Anger filled her and combat mode took over. She climbed over the carrier and saw several wings of enemy converging on her. Charging plasma tubes she started firing as fire from both sides told her sue and Karin her wing mates, were on the job. Then a giggly light voice came through her speakers with “have Fun kids I got your sixes”.Jen smiled to hear the new voice it meant Shar was on the job.
