This collection has two tales which deal with sexual experimentation within a relationship. Both are consensual but push the boundaries of what are often regarded as sexual perameters.

The final three stories deal with sexual manipulation and, to a degree, the abuse of power of men over women. What makes these studies more impactive is the reaction of, and the response to these abuses of power.

The first story, Charleston, is not all it seems. Ostensibly it deals with a couple who are highly active sexually and the willingness to experiment within that relationship but it contains an interesting twist.

The Holiday is about a husband who is more than comfortable allowing his wife to indulge her fantasies and the lengths to which these fantasies are pushed. It hopefully leaves the reader wanting more. Which may well be forthcoming in future anthologies.

The stories then take on a distinctly blacker mode. Monique is set in Nazi Occupied France during the 1940s and deals with the length to which those lusting after power will go to hold on to that power and the pleasures of revenge.

Danielle is darker still dealing with the demons that are lurking beneath the surface and are exposed in a brutal manner. The results for the happily married, successful business woman, Danielle Rampton are life changing.

The final story, The Set Up deals again with the abuse of power but the outcome is not what the perpetrator imaged it would be despite all the careful planning that had gone into the scheme.
