A secret dark side haunts Charlot Day every day. If she's not working as an officer of the law, her addiction drives her to find a man to blow his mind. From very consenting boys, to men from every walk of life, they approach the sexuality that exudes from Charlot’s beauty. She doesn't mind though. She’s been approached by boys since high school. Her natural beauty draws them in like a magnet and none of them want to have long conversations or walks on the beach. They want the rawness of sex and the release that only sex can give. Charlot takes it all in and gives amply in return.

Even though Charlot possesses a bottomless hunger for sex, her hard work has whittled her needs down to at least one man a night until he showed up. Joey Estravlan was ordered by the courts to show up for sex addiction class and that’s how it all came to be. Through her addiction she found a boy toy to be with after their meetings. He was a safe man to get naked with and she was legal enough to be with once a week. It wasn't until she found her friend dead that turned her life upside down.

Joey Estravlan was found dead in an alley perpetuating his skills as sexual deviant with the girl he was with. This may have been nothing more than the girl’s boyfriend discovering her cheating ways that got them both killed. However, a note found in Joey’s hand connected their deaths to the Minotaur serial killer instead of the injured boyfriend scenario.

Written in English but in an old style of script, the note's prose revealed the killer’s believed “Unalterable direction” and his regret over the deaths he committed. Charlot must decipher this clue before the seventh damsel is murdered and the Minotaur turns away from his female victim choices towards the seven children required to fill his quota, just as the old fable is told.

Charlot, now excused from the case because of a personal connection, must skirt the law to do some off the book investigating on her own. She will use all the skills at her disposal to find the information she needs to identify this killer, including utilizing her addiction.

She knows from experience that men will reveal anything, anything, after being coaxed just the right way in foreplay. Charolt was not afraid coax men to get her second voice, called addiction, to extract what she needed before this case. Now the importance of finding this killer may give her addiction a respectable cause to get naked for. Her first voice of reason is frightened to bring a killer into her home, but addiction usually got its way.

Caution, graphic sexual imagery within.
