Perhaps you have a couple of kids, and you want them to be able to use your Mac, but you don’t want them to have access to certain Web sites or applications. That’s where Parental Controls come in. Parental Controls allow you to create separate accounts for people and limit exactly what those account holders can do. You can even set the times during which one of those accounts is allowed to log in to Lion and limit the account holder’s email or chat contacts. In this project, I show you how.
This is a single short project. Other single short projects available for individual sale include:
- Manage passwords, with 1Password
- Secure your Mac, with Mac OS X Lion
- Spruce up iTunes, by adding album art and lyrics and removing duplicate songs
- Video conferencing, with Mac OS X Lion
- Powering your home theater from your Mac
In addition, many more projects can be found in the 240 page
The Mac OS X Lion Project Book.
