The Keyalo escaped their dying dome only to find themselves trapped in Prehistoric North America complete with migrating mammoths, giant sloths and prehistoric man. But there is something else present that only Navi can feel. Evil. The evil that is LeUr.

Lane and Navi lead the ragtag group south to what will become Los Angeles where Lane feels the Keyalo will have a better chance of surviving the coming Younger Dryas Ice Age. Along the way they encounter prehistoric man. Lane has to wonder if the early man they discovered were actually Keyalo who had escaped their domes hundreds of thousands of years earlier and had de-evolved because of the harsh conditions they'd had to endure living outside their angelic, protected domes. Was it possible the people he and Navi were teaching to live as the Paleo Indians of North America were actually they Paleo Indians of history? Was it possible the line between Creation and Evolution could be blurred? Were creation and Evolution actually one in the same?

Will they make it to warmer weather before the Ice Age hits? Will the evil Navi feels show itself and kill the angelic children she carries? And when the chance comes for her and Lane to go back to their time, will they be able to leave those they have come to love, behind?
