The Ghosts and the Demons.
In this, book three of the Supernatural Stations Series, a gathering of a thousand ghosts, the souls of the endlessly wandering, are called to a meeting to discuss a most disturbing looming occurrence which could devastate them all. A ghost has been captured and thrown into the dark, bottomless pit by an eyeless demon masquerading as a dreadful old woman. Mr Thin, the leader of the ghosts, had discovered the cause of this terrible happening – the rescue of the mortal James Fisher by Clara the ghost, who had prevented him from being taken by a demon seven months prior at the last Halloween. Such an act was deemed blasphemous and rebellious for any ghost to engage in and therefore absolutely frowned upon.
The Halloween demon has not forgotten, as demons never forget, and now he is gathering others of his kind to hunt down all the ghosts living in the London underground stations where they had been trapped since death. While the other ghosts see no solution from the inevitable, Ivy, the ghost of an eight–year-old, has the perfect plan. She reveals to Clara that the only way to save themselves is to see the light and move to their after-life final destination; where their souls could finally rest. However, they need a human to help them do this, and James Fisher is the reluctant saviour they need.
As the ghosts continue to fight for their souls, James Fisher will discover something about himself that he can no longer run away from. His life is about to change, and so is that of all the ghosts.
