Colors of Poetry is a book of poems written in the 1960s and 2012. They were written by daughter and mother, independently. The poems are colorful, playful and sorrowful. They are about feelings of love, life, family and nature. Some of the poems will make you laugh (The Noisy Five). Others will open your eyes to the beauty of nature (Mountain High). The author has shared some of her travels as written in poems. In 2012, 45 years later, Patricia became motivated to write again and publish her poems. Besides her works, she incorporated poems written by her mother, discovered after her death in 1994. This made for a heartfelt project with lots of meaning. Patricias mother would be so proud to see their poetic works shared with others.
