This is a book that will teach you the basic foundation of making a comic book and creating a comic strip.  There are a lot of things to consider when beginning.

I am very surprised that out of all of the books I’ve written, this is the one that has been purchased the most.  In High school I loved Arts and Drama but when I graduated I put those things on the back shelve and chose a different path.  My vocation now is to advise and teach workshops on protocol to staff under me; sounds boring right?! I do love what I do. I have also always loved drawing and making jokes.  I was challenged to make a book about what I love doing in my spare time; this is it.

Thank you for taking the time to read through this book.  Create a concept and stick with it.  Find some reasons for people to read your comics and stay on that concept/theme.  Play with the character and plot.  Then write/draw.

I hope that you enjoy this book as I teach you how to make a comic strip.
