This is one of the few books on wedding planning that is written with the parents of the bride and groom, and the newly engaged couple in mind. I was inspired by the experience with my own son and his wife which lead me to bringing our experience to you.
This book will uncover many wedding event planning secrets, traditions, current day observations, trial and error examples and sound guidance to help you make the right choice for your own wedding event.
If you have never planned an event of any size or if you have had some experience doing so, this book will show you things you never thought of and see you through every phase to make sure nothing is overlooked and that you are not taken advantage of along the way.
You may have already noticed that once you share that you are planning a wedding the costs of venues, vendors and all that goes with it seems to double in price. Being armed with the right negotiating skills and alternate solutions to the many different situations you will be navigating through will help make planning the event enjoyable and far less stressful for everyone.
I have included a number of checklists to use as reference guides at the end of the book, located in the Appendix. As you progress through the book you will see the ease of using these tools and sharing them with your event’s vendors and venues as you progress.
Wishing you all the best on your own journey,
Elaine
