Winter storms trap a seventy-two year old man, two Belgian Shepherd police dogs, and a former prostitute now employed by the Federal Department of Health in his isolated ranch house for seven weeks.  He educates visiting nurse Sally Smith far beyond what she had learned from schools and on the streets.  She learns the foundation of the U.S. Constitution, and much more.  She learns of a future that she never imagined.

A well-armed FDH "Search Team" arrives at 4:00AM in a Black Hawk helicopter.  They are determined to terminate the employee’s career, but do not learn the secrets of the ranch house.  Add an attorney, the County Sheriff, and several news media helicopters and things get really interesting.  The resulting news story becomes a Congressional investigation into much more than just murder.

Is this just a fictional novel about a possible future?  Is it science fiction, historic educational material, or a romance novel?  Would you want the future of our country to be like this?  You decide.

Nathaniel Grant has retired from the aerospace and computer industries.  He is researching our nation’s true history.
