Every country and group of people have someone they make fun of. You can be in a bar anywhere in the world and, before long, you will hear a joke that starts something like this "Two dumb so-and-so's walk into a bar ..."

In Canada, that place is called Newfoundland. To the rest of the country it is called "The Rock". For many years, it was the epitome of what it was like to live a rural existence where the Poverty line was a place above you.

However, it is also known as one of the friendliest places on earth and home to some of the nicest, and genuine people you have ever met.

So, when Dougall and Tavish, a couple of cousins from Newfoundland (who eek out a meager existence as fishermen in a dying way of life) get bitten by a New York Vampire, on her way back from London, they have no idea what to do!

They can't stay there. They can't become vampires. Would you?

Knowing that time is of the essence, and on the advice of the local Priest - they go to Toronto in an effort to stop their inevitable evolution.

When they get to the biggest city in Canada, they get way more than they bargained for!

Not young, not pretty, not rich, not sophisticated - they are the antithesis of any Vampire that has ever lived.

Follow them on their antics in this crafty blend of Dark Humor and Horror as they stumble their way through this novel that is sure to please.

A refreshing take on the Vampire genre.
